The 2024 Iowa Children's Water Festival has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. We plan to return for the in-person on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) campus! We hope you and your class(es) are able to join us for our 29th anniversary celebration!
We will be offering the ICWF - Water Festival in a Box as an option for those schools unable to take fields trips or those in outlying areas (more than 75 miles from Ankeny) unable to make the trip due to distance.
No matter which way you choose to participate in the Festival, we look forward to sharing this incredible experience with you and your students!
The Iowa Children's Water Festival is a FREE educational event that provides your FIFTH GRADE class the opportunity to learn about the importance of water in their daily lives through presentations, hands-on activities, exhibits, games and entertainment!
We hope to see you there or to provide you the Festival in a Box for your class through the mail!
